At the heart of the design is Platinum’s renowned Slip & Seal Mechanism, now improved to extend ink protection from approximately two years to over three years without use. In the Demonstrator model, the inner cap is printed, letting you visually experience the moment the nib is sealed. A redesigned section structure improves strength, stability, and ease of maintenance, while a newly added rubber ring reinforces airtightness and prevents loosening during writing. Completing the update is a newly engraved nib design, refining the iconic Mt. Fuji motif into a more contemporary expression.
