Pilot Iroshizuku Ink Moonlight (Tsuki-yo) 50ml takes its name from the particular quality of light on a clear Japanese night, and the colour earns that reference. It's a deep, dark blue with just a whisper of teal — not enough to read as anything other than blue, but enough to give it a cool, luminous quality that sets it apart from a straightforward navy or midnight.
Tsuki-yo shades moderately on quality paper, the depth of colour separating gently as the stroke thins. Like the rest of the Iroshizuku range it is consistent and well-behaved in the nib: good flow, clean starts, and no staining.

"Even before delving into fountain pens, I was always a black-over-blue ink person. I still am with my ballpoints, and fountain pens have allowed me to play around with many other colours, but it has been hard for me to find a blue I enjoy... until I found Tsuki-yo. Not quite blue and not quite blue-black, this ink is true to its namesake, reminding me of when moonlight pours through the windows at night and washes everything in that specific blue hue."

Free standard shipping via UPS on orders over $65. Rates for orders below this threshold are calculated at checkout.
Same-day delivery is available within 30km of 25 Bellair Street, Toronto, seven days a week — orders placed by 11am are delivered the same day; orders after 11am are delivered the following day. Flat fee of $14.95, applied automatically at checkout.

The following items are exempt from the right of withdrawal: opened ink cartridges, pen refills, and bottled ink (sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once opened); personalized or custom-made items.
Standard Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase and exchanges within 30 days, provided items are unused, in original condition, and in original packaging with proof of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
Opened ink cartridges, pen refills, bottled ink, perishable goods, dated products, and gift cards cannot be returned.
Sale Items
Items discounted 25% or more are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within a few business days.
