Pelikan M700 Toledo Black Fountain Pen

The art of damascening is thousands of years old. It is used to decorate steel or iron objects and to refine the surface with precious metals. Pelikan adopted this technique for the Toledo model.

The Toledo's decorative sleeve is made of Sterling silver. It is treated carefully in different steps until the motif is covered with a layer of gold. Every Toledo writing instrument is hand-crafted in Germany, making each piece unique. 

The Toledo M 700 Black fountain pen has a piston filling mechanism encased in a smooth resin body and showcases an exceptional 18-karat/750 gold nib decorated with rhodium.
