Original Crown Mill Classic Laid Note Card Presentation Box 4x6”

The rich heritage of Crown Mill traces back to the Renaissance era. In 1478, Emperor Maximilian granted permission to the monks of La Hulpe Monastery in Belgium to erect a mill alongside the Argentine River. Centuries later, under the decree of King Charles II, this water mill evolved into the Royal Mill, dedicated to crafting fine writing paper.

In 1870 marked the arrival of Original Crown mill founder, Frédéric Pelletier. Recognizing the need for high-quality writing paper and envelopes, Frédéric established a factory in Brussels, drawing inspiration from the Royal Mill's heritage.

This beautiful box contains 50 note cards and 50 matching, white-paper lined envelopes. The note cards measure 4x6 inches and the ‘Laid’ finish is perfect for writing letters: the texture suggests horizontal lines that make it easy to write neatly.
