LAMY Safari Fountain Pen
The LAMY Safari Fountain Pen has a triangular grip that puts your fingers in the right place, so the nib meets the page properly and the ink flows. It is light, tough and inexpensive, and it is the fountain pen we recommend most often to people trying one for the first time.
The body is ABS plastic, designed by Wolfgang Fabian, with a spring-loaded clip that holds on to a notebook or pocket. It comes with a LAMY T10 blue cartridge, and the LAMY Z28 converter lets you use bottled ink. It’s half price when you buy it with the pen.
Choose Black, Blue, Charcoal, Red, White or Yellow, with an Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad nib. European nibs like LAMY’s run broader than Japanese ones, so Fine is a good place to start. Read more in Choosing Your First Fountain Pen.

Promotional discount codes cannot be combined with shipping discounts, including Correspondents' Club free standard shipping, free expedited shipping, and the same-day delivery discount. If a promotional discount code is applied to your order, the code takes effect and shipping is charged at the standard rate.
This does not apply to loyalty points redemptions, which can be used together with shipping discounts. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Oversized items
Some items incur an additional flat-rate shipping fee due to their dimensions. This is applied automatically at checkout.
