Caran d'Ache 849 Ballpoint Pen
The Caran d’Ache 849 Ballpoint Pen is slim, light and hexagonal, so it sits comfortably in the hand and slips into the pen loop of almost any notebook. Inside is a Goliath refill, one of the smoothest ballpoint refills you’ll find, and good for about 600 A4 pages.
It is one of our favourite ballpoint pens, made in Geneva from aluminum, and reasonably priced for a pen that lasts this long. A medium blue Goliath refill is included, and replacements come in Fine, Medium and Broad and several colours.
Choose Sapphire Blue, Red, Black, White, Fluorescent Pink or Fluorescent Orange.
Why we love it
"Practical, and long lasting - I have fond memories of my mother always keeping a slim, branded pen in her wallet (but for her it was a chequebook.) The 849 is certainly more robust and long lasting, not to mention, also refillable!"
