AJOTO for Laywine's Rollerball Pen
The AJOTO for Laywine’s Rollerball Pen is a solid brass pen made with AJOTO for us, and sold only at Laywine’s. Brass changes as you use it, so over time the pen picks up a patina and small marks that make it look like yours.
It is made by hand in England, with a contrasting stainless steel mechanism. It takes a short capless rollerball refill, such as the Schmidt 8126P, or a Parker-style ballpoint refill.
Why we love it
"Now I know, it's not a new pen in our lineup. In fact, I've had mine for quite some time. But if our staff picks are for highlighting something we've loved using in the past months, then this is the obvious choice for me. Mine has been through quite a lot of wear and tear, but the patina, dings, and scratches that it's picked up make it so much more personal. I've found myself reaching for it when I want to jot a quick note down, as it's endlessly reliable and beautifully made."
