Pelikan Souverän M400 Tortoise White Fountain Pen
The Pelikan Souverän M400 Tortoise White Fountain Pen is light and slim, easy to write with for long stretches and a good fit for smaller hands. This one comes in a tortoiseshell pattern of ivory and amber with gold-plated trim, a warmer, more vintage look than the classic green stripe.
The M400 is the smallest full-size Souverän. The barrel is translucent, so you can hold it up to the light and see how much ink is left. Its 14k gold nib is smooth and, like most Pelikan nibs, runs a little wet. Choose Extra Fine, Fine or Medium.
It fills by piston from the bottle, and the nib unit unscrews for cleaning, so it is low-maintenance for a gold-nib pen. Read more about the brand in our Pelikan brand feature.
Visit us at 25 Bellair in Yorkville to try the M400 against the larger Souveräns, or book an appointment.

If a promotional discount code is applied to your order, the code takes effect and shipping is charged at the standard rate.
This does not apply to loyalty points redemptions, which can be used together with shipping discounts. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Oversized items
Some items incur an additional flat-rate shipping fee due to their dimensions. This is applied automatically at checkout.
