Assistant Manager

Laywine's is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager takes on the responsibilities to run the shop's day-to-day operations. They are punctual, reliable and are a strong, natural leader.

While a love of pens, paper, and leather goods is not a necessity, an understanding of the value in quality products is. We want to find an individual who appreciates the quality of a beautiful, everyday notebook as much as a limited edition fountain pen.

The successful applicant:

  • Experience in high-end retail
  • Understands the value of customer experience
  • Well organized with strong time-management skills
  • Available to work weekends as required
  • Is willing to take on responsibilities of daily running of the shop
  • Can help build a strong team.

Part-Time Sales

As a Sales Associate you will be expected to assist clients in the selection of appropriate products to meet their needs. You will also be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and assisting in the maintenance of visual standards.

 

This is a great opportunity for you to join an established and growing company. Extensive training will be provided.

 

The successful Applicant:

  • Previous experience in either retail or face to face customer service
  • Dependability, punctuality, and adaptability
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Computer literacy
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Assets

  • An interest in fine stationery products
  • Experience with social media platforms
