Original Crown Mill Cotton A5 Note Pad
The rich heritage of Crown Mill traces back to the Renaissance era. In 1478, Emperor Maximilian granted permission to the monks of La Hulpe Monastery in Belgium to erect a mill alongside the Argentine River. Centuries later, under the decree of King Charles II, this water mill evolved into the Royal Mill, dedicated to crafting fine writing paper.
In 1870 marked the arrival of Original Crown mill founder, Frédéric Pelletier. Recognizing the need for high-quality writing paper and envelopes, Frédéric established a factory in Brussels, drawing inspiration from the Royal Mill's heritage.
This luxurious notepad is made of pure cotton, a natural off-white cotton stationery in a velvety soft, woven finish. Each pad contains fifty sheets and is accompanied by a ruled guide that when placed under your writing sheet assists in keeping your lines straight.
