Graf von Faber-Castell Ink Bottle Garnet Red 75ml
The Graf von Faber-Castell Ink Bottle Garnet Red 75ml is a deep, dark red with the richness of the gemstone it references: more burgundy than scarlet, with a depth that gives handwriting a serious, almost archival quality. Document-proof to DIN ISO 12757-2: smudge-resistant, lightfast, water-resistant, and resistant to chemicals and solvents. A beautiful colour that rewards a broad nib. The finely fluted glass bottle is designed to be left on display.
Why we love it
"I love finding alternatives to standard black ink, especially those which can substitute for black in daily writing. Garnet red is one of those beautiful alternatives. Its dark, rich, burgundy colour immediately looks at home on the page. And thanks to its ISO verified document-proof status, it will stay on the page without any fading—perfect for notetaking as the fall semester begins."
