Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 Coloured Pencils Wooden Case of 100
The Caran d’Ache Luminance 6901 Coloured Pencils Wooden Case of 100 lays down rich, even colour from soft, wax-based leads that blend easily in layers. This is every Luminance colour in one light oak case, made by Caran d’Ache in Geneva.
The set holds 112 pencils: all 100 colours, duplicates of the nine you’re likely to use most, two blender pencils and one full blender. It is a serious set for illustrators and artists, and a very good reason to stop borrowing someone else’s.
Luminance pencils meet the ASTM D-6901 standard for lightfastness, which tests how well colour holds up over time in light. 80 of the 100 colours carry the highest lightfastness rating, which makes the set a good choice for illustration and finished work meant to be framed or kept.
