Chilton Black Hard Rubber (Ebonite) is a pneumatic filler: you pull the barrel out while holding your thumb over the hole at the base of the barrel while having the nib immersed in the bottle. When you push the barrel back and release your thumb, you will hear a pop noise as the ink rushes into the sac. This is a rare version with gold filled trim and green enamel over ebonite. It has a fine semi flexible Chilton Boston 14kt nib.
